Our findings

Set amid vineyards, orchards and fields, this fortified farmhouse has been converted into a superb B&B. Hélène and François ran another B&B nearby for more than 20 years, and have furnished and decorated their new home with great good taste. Guests are welcomed in the small entrance hall and then go through to the interior, plant-filled courtyard, with terraces and ponds filled with multi-coloured fish. In the wings of the building are five huge guest rooms on the ground floor with direct access to the garden and the swimming pool. In the corner is the "De La Tour" room with its open fireplace, antique furniture and huge, sumptuous bathroom! In the main house is a lounge with well-stocked bookshelves, a pretty dining room where breakfasts and evening meals are served at small tables, and the beautiful kitchen where Hélène prepares delicious meals using fresh local produce. Another of Hélène's passions are her poneys which frolic in the fields, and bicycles are available on request if you feel like cycling around the pretty local valleys.
