Our findings

The house is in two halves, the older, completely renovated part on the street side, and the newer, very modern timber-and-glass extension to the rear. Located on a hill overlooking Durbuy, it enjoys splendid views over the surrounding countryside. The bedrooms have been decorated with care, with warm hues on the walls, salvaged furniture picked up here and there and lovely fabrics. Guests can choose from the "Oak" and "Lime" rooms on the first floor and the "Hazelnut" suite on the second floor. The suite is spacious and filled with light and has a woven hazelnut panel and a pommel-shaped showerhead that invites you to try it! The suite has its own private entrance at the side of the house, a double bed and a double sofa bed, a lounge and a kitchenette, offering complete independence. Breakfast includes local Ardennes cheeses and cooked meats and is served in the new part of the building on high tables with bar stools, at the end of the bar, where guests can also sample great Luxembourgeois beers. Sporty guests can enjoy guided bicycle tours or rambles around the region. Guests who enjoy exploring can visit castles, the dolmen museum, the Labyrinthus, the topiary park, or simply strolling through the narrow streets of Durbuy.
